Product Description




The catalytic converter is coated with rare earth element and noble metals of PT, Pd, Rh. When the engine exhaust passing through the three-way catalytic converter the elements of CO would be oxidized into CO2, the HC is turned into H2O and CO2, while the NOX is deoxidized into nitrogen. The catalytic converter substrate is made of metal honeycomb with stainless steel crust and Fe-Cr-Al honeycomb body. It is a critical part of motorcycles and off-road engines to make the exhaust emission meet government standard. Along with the Europe III, IV emissions implementation, our factory has carried on the optimized design in the original formula foundation, developed a series of combustion initiation temperature to be lower, the transformed efficiency was higher.

We can supply both metallic substrate coated with noble metals of Pt, Pd, Rh and without noble metals, and can meet the emission standard Euro II, Euro III, Euro IV, Euro V, EPA and CARB.
The cells of metallic substrate density can be 100, 200, 300, 400, 600 or 900 CPSI and more. The shape is round, oval, racetrack and other special shape.


The shell materials: Ferritic stainless steel SUS444, SUS441, SUS430 and austenitic stainless steel SUS304, SUS316.
The core materials: Domestic FeCrAl (2073/216), import FeCrAl (1.4725/1.4767), copper and iron, etc.
The foil thickness: 0.03-0.1 mm.
The hole density: 100-900 CPSI.
The braze welding: Nickel-based solder.
Shape: Round, oval, racetrack, rectangle and other especial shape according to the design of client.
Type: Spirality series, “S” series and “SM” series.

Working principle


When high-temperature car exhaust passes through the purification device, the purification agent in the three-way catalytic
converter will enhance the activity of CO, hydrocarbons, and NOx gases, promoting them to undergo certain oxidation-reduction chemical reactions. CO is oxidized to colorless and non-toxic carbon dioxide gas at high temperatures; Hydrocarbons oxidize into water (H2O) and carbon dioxide at high temperatures; NOx is reduced to nitrogen and oxygen. Three types of harmful gases are transformed into harmless gases, which purify car exhaust gas
