Difference of the silicone raw material
2. Ordinary silica gel( normal grade: non-toxic and smely) . not easy to deformation .
PS: needs to be baked in the oven for 4-6 hours to achieve no smell. taste less
3. Silica gel powder glue (recycled materiat non-toxic and smelly) . poor feel, easy to damage and deformation after frozen use
PS: No direct contact with food (harmful substances will be released at high temperature)
4. Plastic TPE (plastic taste is obvious, non-toxic and peculiar smell, not environmental protection) . After freezing. the ice cube tray will become hard and not easy to take ice
PS: Some manufacturers will add flavor in the production process to cover up the smell
Why is your price higher than others?
In the same material, the same weight and the same wall thickness, our price can not be more expensive than others. Because we are also raw material factory, no need the interme diate cost .
PS: Some factory will mix the powder glue to make the material cost down .
Powder rubber silicone material price just half price than regular material, and its not recommended for direct contact with food
PS: When used in the same mold as the platinum silica gel, the powder silicone weight will be about 1/ 3 heavier than made by platinum silica gel
