Polypropylene Honeycomb Core: Affordable and Lightweight Material

Fiberglass PP honeycomb panel is a new type of lightweight composite material. Its upper and lower layers are fiberglass sheets, and the middle layer is PP (polypropylene) honeycomb core. PP honeycomb is a durable, environmentally friendly, and lightweight material with very good corrosion resistance, while glass fiber sheet is a high-strength material. Combining them together not only maintains lightweight and high-strength properties but also has good anti-vibration effects.

PP (polypropylene) honeycomb core is a plastic product with lightweight, impact resistance, water resistance and corrosion resistance. Its honeycomb structure minimizes its own weight and maintains high compressive strength.

We offer two different systems of GRP sheets as skin materials for PP honeycomb panels: thermosetting GRP and thermoplastic GRP (CFRT). They have their own characteristics and application fields.

TOPOLO manufactures different styles of fiberglass honeycomb sandwich panels. The surface of the honeycomb panel can be treated in various ways. FRP skin can be added with gel-coat and treated to a high-gloss or matte surface, and can also be embossed. CFRT skin can be added with a layer of high-gloss or matt laminated film, and can also be embossed with anti-slip patterns. At the same time, it can also bond other coverings such as vinyl leather, textiles, etc. on the surface of the fiberglass honeycomb panel.
