Provides a standardized method for isolating lymphocytes and monocytes from whole blood in one step. Can be used for lymphocyte immune function testing, hla or residual leukemia gene testing.
Saves time mainly for isolation of cells, simplifies isolation of peripheral blood mononuclear cells (centrifugation in 20 minutes) More efficiency and output with limited time to process more samples (pharmacy and cro) Standardization can be used for in vitro diagnostics and test variation in density gradient isolation methods.
Especially important for clinical trials, the isolation method and the closed vacuum blood collection system reduce sample contamination and minimize the risk of exposing the user to dangerous blood (tuberculosis tests, hiv tests.)

How To Use
1) Store blood collection tubes at room temperature (18-25°C).
2) Perform blood collection (please prepare winged needle and holder separately).
3) After blood collection, invert and mix gently at room temperature.
4) Centrifuge at 1500-1800 x g for 15 minutes (heparin) or 20 minutes (citric acid) at room temperature using a swinging rotor. (Centrifuge within 2 hours of blood collection.)
5) Aspirate about half of the plasma layer, making sure not to disturb the cell layer above the gel barrier.
6) Using a Pasteur pipette, transfer the cell layer into a 15-ml tube (e.g. Falcon tube).
*If it is necessary to transport the specimen, the blood collection tube can be transported directly after centrifugation in step 4.
