Square End Mills For Aluminum Milling
These mills are specifically designed for high metal removal rates in aluminum.
They have two or three large flutes with a high helix angle, and eccentric grinds on the outside diameter. The point is square end where the corners are sharp and generate a 90° corner. CNC milling of aluminum can be difficult, because the material can stick to the flutes and the chips can pack.
These mills come with coating, or as uncoated.
They are available in a wide variety of diameter sizes from 1mm to 20mm.
