Helicoils thread Inserts are designed to let you carry out a fast and efficient repair to damaged threads. Thread Inserts are made from high grade helically wound stainless steel wire. Due to the exact tolerances, the repaired thread will be stronger than the original. Each insert shares the load over the entire bolt and hole, improving holding or pull-out resistance, providing a more even distribution of load and stress.
