What are the types of CNG filling stations?
CNG refueling station is a place that provides fuel to Natural Gas vehicles and large CNG sub-station vehicles in the form of compressed natural gas (CNG), which is generally divided into conventional stations, mother stations and sub-stations.
1. Regular station
The conventional station is built in the place where natural gas pipelines can pass through, and the gas is directly taken from the natural gas pipeline, and the incoming pressure is 0.4MPa. The natural gas is compressed into the compressor after desulfurization, dehydration and other processes, and the compressed pressure is 25MPa. Then enter the gas selling machine to fill the gas vehicle. The gas is usually added between 600 and 1000Nm3/h (standard cubic per hour).
2. Mother station
The mother station takes gas directly from the natural gas pipeline, and the inlet pressure is 1~1.5MPa. The natural gas enters the compressor for compression after desulfurization, dehydration and other processes, and then is transported to the sub-station by a tank truck with a gas storage cylinder group (25MPa) to gas the car, which has the function of a conventional station. The mother station is mostly built near the city station, and the usual gas intake of the mother station is between 2500 and 4000Nm3/h (standard cubic per hour).
3. Sub-station
The sub-station is built in the place where there is no natural gas pipeline around the filling station, generally built in the city to facilitate the vehicle filling or that is located in the township industrial zone without gas pipeline laying, to supply natural gas as energy. The gas source is mainly provided by the mother station, which is mainly shipped to the sub-station by natural gas sled, connected to the gas unloading column system to enter the CNG pressure regulator, and then the high-pressure gas is reduced to the user's required pressure 0.2~4MPa by the decompression sled, and then enters the transmission network to supply the user with natural gas.
