4. How to Measure the Blind Size? | ||||||||
Please help refer to the "How to Measure" diagram instruction in each product description. Reminders: * For the most accurate measurements, only use a steel tape measure. * Don’t mix up width and height measurements. Always follow the width by height format (W x H) and mark them as such. * Measure down to the nearest 1/8 inch. Never round up or down to the nearest half or whole inch. * An important tip if you’re considering an inside mount: make sure that you have no obstacles that could disrupt the flow of the blind, including larger window sills and window winders. You may get a stream of light coming through on either side of the blind. * With an outside mount, the blind is mounted either on the window frame itself or entirely outside the frame on the wall. Combined with a pelmet valance, an outside mount offers greater stylistic flexibility because the sizing of the blind isn’t as important. | ||||||||
5. How to Clean Your Blinds? | ||||||||
1. Gently swipe across the fabric with the brush attachment on your vacuum while supporting the fabric from behind. Be sure not to wrinkle the fabric. Do not vacuum without the brush attachment, since you can crumple or deform the fabric. 2. For heavier dirt or stains, sheer shade fabric can be gently wiped with a sponge or microfiber cloth and warm, soapy water. 3. Avoid strong cleaners, as they can damage the fabric.
