Polycarboxylate Superplasticizer is a new type of concrete admixture for freshly poured concrete. Polycarboxylate is a weak electrolyte. It can only be completely dissolved in alkaline solution. It can be complexed with cations in the cement/water system to control the hydration process of cement, thus reducing the slump loss of concrete. Therefore, Polycarboxylate Superplasticizer is the most effective and efficient water reducing agent in cement concrete.
