Description
Fused glass has a strong sense of art and design. It is not as dull and monotonous as ordinary decorative glass, and has a very special decorative effect. Fused glass is also called crystal three-dimensional art glass or Ssgging glass. Fused glass belongs to glass thermal processing technology, which involves melting flat glass, drooping it and placing it into a mold to form.
Fused glass uses a special hot-melt furnace, using flat glass and inorganic colorants as the main raw materials. It sets a specific heating program and annealing curve. It is heated to above the softening point of the glass and fired at a temperature of up to 800°C. After several hours, it is annealed (cooled) after being molded with a special mold. If necessary, subsequent processes such as engraving, drilling, and trimming are performed.
