We will inspect products three times before shipment and every pump have the test records. We will keep these test records to our quality traceability system about 3-5 years.
Test items : workmanship, air flow rate, power, pressure, current, noise, vibration , temperature and durability etc.
Q.7: Question: How loud is this? Ok for a residential back yard or are my neighbors going to hate me?
Noise level is subjective but you'll probably want to put the pump in an enclosure of some sort to reduce its noise if you have neighbors within a radius of 70 ft or so.

The pump is not all that noisy but if it's set up to run through the night nearby neighbors would probably hear it, at least with windows up. If located in an unsheltered area outdoors you'll need to put this pump in an enclosure anyway for weather protection, which will probably cut the noise enough. You can chose our compressor system with box type , the noise can reduce 30% .

The compressor never needs to be exposed to the water so that's not a problem. The air line and diffuser are the only things that go into the water.

Not waterproof, but locating it outside is o.k.

The tube is a weighted hose and will not float on the water when entering the water. The diffuser reaches a water depth of 20 meters without tipping over, and weighs 2.7kg
