Peste des petits ruminants virus a highly contagious disease caused by pestes petits ruminant virus (PPRV) of the genus Measles virus. It mainly infects sheep and goats, and wild ruminants can also be infected. It is one of the most important epidemics that harm the sheep industry.
This kit is suitable for detection of Peste des petits ruminants virus RNA in sheep mesentery and bronchial lymph nodes, spleen, lung, large intestine and other tissues, ciliary membrane swabs, nose and mouth swabs and serum samples, and is suitable for auxiliary diagnosis of Peste des petits ruminants virus infection.
Product Principle
This kit uses TaqMan probe real-time fluorescence PCR technology, designs a pair of specific primers of Pest des petits ruminants virus, and combines with a specific probe to amplify and detect the RNA of Pest des petits ruminants virus in vitro by fluorescence PCR technology, which is used for clinical etiological diagnosis of suspected infected materials.
