Polycrystalline Diamond Composite (PDC) is a kind of composite superabrasive sintered by polycrystalline diamond layer and tungsten carbide substrate under ultrahigh pressure and temperature. It has the hardness and abrasion resistance similar to diamond, and the impact resistance similar to tungsten carbide. Being an eximious kind of cutting tool and material for drilling tool.

PDC cutter for rock bits

Conventional PDC cutter has flat diamond table (1.5-3.5mm thickness) sintered onto a tugsten carbide substrate. Range in size from 3mm to 25mm in diameter and 3mm to 32mm in length.  Premium/Standard/Economy grades are available for different application.
