DAYE PVA Fibers (polyvinyl alcohol) are high-performance reinforcement fibres for concrete and
mortar. PVA fibres are well-suited for a wide variety of applications because of their superior
crack-fighting properties, high modulus of elasticity, excellent tensile and molecular bond strength, and
high resistance to alkali, UV, chemicals, fatigue and abrasion. DAYE PVA fibers are unique in their
ability to create a molecular bond with mortar and concrete that is 300% greater than other fibres.


Main performance:
DAYE PVA fibers have better physical and mechanical performance with more 216℃ melt point. It has
high tensile strength, high modulus and low elongation at break. Due to unique ‘-OH’ structure on PVA
molecular chain, DAYE PVA fibers have good associativity with matrix material. This fibre has pretty
obvious effects of reinforcing, toughening, resisting crack and preventing seepage. It is harmless to
human and environment. Besides, it is recognized as an ideal material to replace asbestos with China
and overseas. Polyvinyl alcohol fiber is honored as green eco-friendly product.

Working mechanism:
1) Decrease layered segregation and settlement shrinkage of matrix material. Prevent initial and further
crack.
2) Improve fragility of matrix material, strengthen toughness and achieve effects of reinforcing and
toughening.
3) Promote compactness and ability to resist seepage of matrix material.
4) Accelerate impact resistance and intense tensile performance of matrix material.
5) Boost the ability to resist chloride penetration of matrix material.

Estimating Data:
The dosage rate is dependent on the application. The general dosage range is 900 g/m3 .

Using Instruction:
1).Length: generally 12mm.
2).Mixing Process: Crushed stones, fibers and sands are put into the mixer in succession. After stirring
for two minutes, fiber will fully spread and then add cement and water and stir normally. The addition of
materials also can be put into as usual, but the stirring time should be properly prolonged to more than 4
minutes to make fiber completely mixed.
3).Shaping & Maintenance: There is no special requirement, may prolong the vibrating time for 30s. The
maintenance of the fiber concrete should be done same as the normal concrete.

Applications:
1) Substitute asbestos to make cement panel, colorful tile, cable pipe, lightweight partition slabs
without asbestos fiber etc.
2) Concrete casting in bulk, such as high-standard airport general runway, high-grade road, parking lot,
dam, port pier, slabs of high-rise buildings, bridge panel, swimming pool, etc.
3) Roof processing of industrial and civil architecture, basement, wall plastering mortar.
4) Shotcrete of tunnel, culvert, channel, slope, mine wall, etc.
5)Reinforcement admixture of plaster products, magnesite items, powder construction material, rubber
products and plastic goods.
6) Coastal beach, salt-alkali area and chemical corrosive field.

Packing:
DAYE chopped PVA fibres of high tensile strength and modulus are packed by laminated bags with PET
strapping. Usually 8 kgs/bag, 25 bags(200 kgs)/pallet. Every bag is labeled with a tab showing product name, grade, weight and date of manufacture.
