1. Propeller Specifications
The first two digits of the propeller model number represent the propeller diameter in inches, and the last two digits represent the propeller pitch. For example, 18X6.5 means the propeller has a diameter of 18 inches and a pitch of 6.5 inches.
2. Propeller Rotation Direction
A propeller that rotates clockwise (when viewed from above) is called a CW propeller, and a propeller that rotates counterclockwise (when viewed from above) is called CCW propeller.
3. Propeller Strength
The propeller has been extensively tested for structural strength. Please use it within the recommended maximum tensile force range. Exceeding the maximum tensile force will damage the propeller blades. Please do not test the propeller blade strength by bending it manually. This method is very different from the actual force during flight and may also damage the propeller blade.
4. Propeller Selection
Before purchasing, please inform the customer service agent of the applicable model (fixed wing, multi-rotor, etc.). The proper propeller with the corresponding strength is recommended according to the application need and single-axis pull force.
5. Propeller Safety
The propeller is made of strong and tough material. It may cause great harm when touching an unprotected part of the human body as it rotates at high speed. Please use it with caution.
6. Propeller Inspection
Before the UAV takes off, check whether the mounting screws are tightened and whether the propeller is damaged. Propeller blades with cracks are susceptible with damage and need to be replaced in time.
7. Propeller Installation
When installing the propeller on the motor, be sure to apply medium thread lock to the screws before installation to prevent the propeller from being thrown off due to vibration during flight.
8. Propeller Storage
Keep the propeller away from corrosive gases and make sure it is in a temperature range of 0-50℃ and a humidity range below 80% especially when storing for a long time.
