Polymethyl Methacrylate, or PMMA for short, is a high molecular polymer, also known as acrylic or plexiglass. It has the advantages of high transparency, low price, and easy machining. It is a commonly used substitute for glass. Material.

The monomer of polymethyl methacrylate is methyl methacrylate (MMA, acrylic monomer).
1. Colorless and transparent, with a light transmittance of 90%-92% and strong toughness, more than 10 times greater than silica glass.
2. Good optics, insulation, processability and weather resistance.
3. Soluble in organic solvents such as carbon tetrachloride, benzene, toluene, dichloroethane, chloroform and acetone.
4. It has high transparency and brightness, good heat resistance, and is tough, hard and rigid. The heat deformation temperature is 80°C and the bending strength is 110Mpa.
5. Density 1.14-1.20g/cm3, deformation temperature 76-116℃, molding shrinkage 0.2-0.8%.
6. Linear expansion coefficient 0.00005-0.00009/℃, thermal deformation temperature 68-69℃ (74-107℃).

During transportation, the product should not be exposed to strong sunlight or rain and should not be transported together with sand, soil, scrap metal, coal or glass. Transportation together with toxic, corrosive and flammable substance is strictly prohibited.
