Defination
Low Emissivity glass, referred to as low-E glass, is the abbreviation of Low Emissivity in English. It is a film product which is plated with multiple layers of metal or other compounds on the glass surface.
In short, this kind of glass can not only transmit light normally, but also block part of the heat energy. When thermal energy (infrared) from the sun or HVAC hits the low-emission glass, it is reflected back into the original space rather than being transmitted through the glass.
