Sylon®Safe
——Protective Series of Flame-retardant Fiber
Sylon®flame retardant fibers are crafted from high-grade phosphorus-based flame-retardant chips. Through copolymerization, phosphorus-containing flame-retardant monomers are integrated into the chips, ensuring a lasting flame-retardant effect. Typically, flame retardant polyester fibers contain 6500 ppm of phosphorus, with an LOI of ≥32. Special requirements can be accommodated with phosphorus content reaching up to 10000 ppm.
Furthermore, flame-retardant fibers with anti-bacteria properties can be prepared by adding anti-bacteria masterbatch to the spinning.
