Gun Distance
The distance between the nozzle and the surface of the coated object is called the gun distance, which is recommended to be 30-40cm. If the gun distance is too small, the spraying pressure is too high, and the back impact force is also large, which can easily lead to uneven coating. Moreover, the spraying width (fan width) is small, resulting in excessive spraying of local materials on the coated object and excessive thickness of the coating film. If the gun distance is too large, the spraying pressure loss is large, the coating is prone to scattering, and the spraying amplitude is too large, resulting in insufficient local spraying of the coated material and the coating film not meeting the thickness requirements.
Angle of spray marking
The spraying fan and the surface to be coated should be perpendicular to each other. When manually operating the spray gun, it is important to note that the spraying width should not be too large each time, otherwise inconvenient operation may cause significant changes in the angle of the spraying fan, resulting in uneven coating.
Running direction and speed
The running direction and speed of the spray gun should always be parallel to the coating and perpendicular to the spraying fan to ensure the uniformity of the coating. The running speed of the spray gun should be stable, preferably between 300-400mm/s. Unstable running speed and uneven layer thickness.
