Water Pump
A water pump is a machine that conveys or pressurizes a liquid. It transmits the mechanical energy of the prime mover or other external energy to the liquid to increase the energy of the liquid, and is mainly used to convey liquids including water, oil, acid and alkali liquids, emulsions, suspended emulsions and liquid metals. Can also transport liquids, gas mixtures and liquids containing suspended solids. The technical parameters of water pump performance are flow, suction range, head, shaft power, water power, efficiency, etc.; according to different working principles can be divided into volumetric pumps, vane pumps and other types. Volumetric pump is the use of its studio volume changes to transfer energy; vane pump is the use of rotary vane and water interaction to transfer energy, there are centrifugal pumps, axial pumps and mixed flow pumps and other types.
Pump body:
The pump body consists of two main parts: suction chamber and pressure chamber, the inlet of suction chamber and the outlet of pressure chamber are the inlet flange and outlet flange of the pump, which are used to connect the inlet pipe and outlet pipe. Suction chamber is generally a gradually shrinking conical pipe or equal diameter straight pipe, its role is to introduce the water flow into the impeller, and to provide the impeller with the required flow conditions.
Pump inlet and outlet：
General pipeline pumps are marked, in the pump body or the base of the arrow pointing to the pipeline pump outlet, the remaining one is the inlet. Observe the structure, the closer to the base is the inlet, as shown in the figure below, the right direction of the closer to the base, which is the inlet, the water flow into the impeller, suction and then thrown out to the outlet so as to enter the pipeline.
