Product Overview

Description

Product description
Ultrasonic spot welding machine can be used for thermoplastics welding by converting 50/60 Hz current to 15, 20, 30, or 40 kHz power through the ultrasonic generator.

The converted high-frequency electrical energy is again converted into mechanical motionof the same frequency through the ultrasonic transducer, and the mechanical motion is then transmitted to the welding head through a set of amplitude modulator devices(booster) that can change the amplitude.

The vibration energy received by the welding head is transferred to the joint of the workpiece to be welded. In this area, the vibration energy is converted into heat energy by means of friction to melt the plastic. After the vibration stops, the transient pressure maintained on the workpiece causes the two weldments to solidified into one body in the form of molecular linkage.

Generally, the welding time is less than 1 second, and the welding strength obtained can be comparable to the body.

Use Attention:
1. The welding horn must be tightened while in replacement
2. Do not use the machine if the current is too high
3. Make sure the equipment is connected with the grounding line for the security purpose
4. Two wrenches must be used while installing or dismantling the horn to prevent damaging the converter
5. Do not modify the welding horn without permission or the consequences will be at your side
6. Non-professionals shall not dismantle the machine for maintenance

FAQ

* Is ultrasonic welding a suitable method for sealing or joining packaging materials?
* Yes, ultrasonic welding is commonly used for sealing and joining packaging materials, such as blister packs, clamshell
packaging, and flexible pouches. It provides hermetic seals and helps maintain the integrity of the packaged contents.

* Can ultrasonic welding be used to weld dissimilar materials?
* It depends on the melting points of the different materials. If the melting points of the two materials are similar, of course, there is no problem. If the melting point of the two materials is very different, the welding effect will be not good

* Are there different types of ultrasonic welding equipment?
* Yes, there are different types of ultrasonic welding equipment available, including handheld units, benchtop machines, and fully automated systems. The choice of equipment depends on the specific application requirements and production volume.

* What factors should be considered when selecting an ultrasonic welding machine?
* When selecting an ultrasonic welding machine, consider key factors such as the material melting points and thickness, desired welding strength, required production speed, part complexity, and any specific features or customization needed for your application.

* Is ultrasonic welding a safe process?
* Ultrasonic welding is generally considered safe when proper safety precautions are followed. Operators should use appropriate personal protective equipment, such as gloves and safety glasses, and ensure that the equipment is properly maintained and operated within specified parameters.
