Sylon^® Bamboo Fiber

——Multifunctional Healthy Bamboo Fiber from the Nature

Sylon^® Bamboo Fiber is a new cellulose fiber made from renewable bamboo resources. It maintains the original antibacterial effect of bamboo, but also has the characteristics of moisture absorption, breathability, soft hand-feel, good fabric drape, good UV resistance, easy to t­ake care of, excellent dyeing performance, wear-resistant, and no pilling. Compared to ordinary viscose products, bamboo fiber is more expensive, but its antibacterial property add value.

Under normal temperature conditions, bamboo fiber and its textiles are very stable. However, in certain environments and conditions, bamboo fiber can decompose into carbon dioxide and water. The degradation methods include:

1. Garbage Disposal: Combustion of cellulose generates CO2 and H2O, causing no pollution to the environment.

2. Landfill Degradation: Microbial activity in the soil activates the soil and enhances its fertility. Degradation in 8-10 months.

3. Degradation in Activated Sludge: Cellulose is broken down, primarily by bacteria present in large numbers.
