Feeding System-4m Chain Conveyor
For large capacity drum wood chipper , it usually use chain conveyor instead of belt conveyor.
Chain conveyor with long lifetime than belt conveyor.
On the other hand, use a Mechanical gripper to catch wood log or waste wood pallets ,waste buliding templates or large diameter wood log onto chain conveyor.
By this way, it could make sure the capacity of drum wood chipper;
If your raw material are hard wood, wood pallets, waste building templates or other wood, for drum wood chipper, the chipping room will equip with hammers instead of traditional knifes.The high rotation spped hammers will beat thmaterial into small size wood chips;
Hammers belong to spare parts, usually the lifetime is about half years.After that, drum wood chipper need to replace new hammers
Chipping Room with Rotary Knives
When material is wood log or small size wood ,usually use rotary knives to cut them into small size.
The high speed rotary knives will cut these wood into small size wood chips.
Usually the distance between rotary knives and fixed knives is just about 0.5-1mm.
So it is very important to fix these knives.When working one days, it also need to fix these knives one by one.
