The latest product – stone coated metal roofing. Stone coated steel roofing is combined with the look of tile, shake or shingle or other types to give a strong, durable roof along with fantastic good looks. Galvalume Steel - Strong the stone coated steel roofing sheets
Coating composition is 55% aluminum in weight ratio (80% surface volume ratio), 43.4% zinc, and 1.6% silicon. All Sangobuild® roof products are manufactured from alu-zinc steel which has shown in tests to last 6-9 times longer than ordinary galvanized steel roofing products. #Roof Tile Sheet Aluminium# This is achieved by protecting the steel core with zinc, which is itself protected by an aluminium barrier. (It's not PPGI Galvalnized, but PPGL Galvalume, which is more durable with extreme weather condititons resistances)

One is pre-painted stone chips; this is the use of paints to coat natural stone.
These chips are very bright mostly when new! But the lifespan is limited to about 2-3 years. Fading is visible after the first few weeks past installation. Other manufacturers use painted stone which quickly changes color due to UV and comes off easily due to low-quality basecoats.
