Aramid fiber is a class of heat-resistant and strong synthetic fiber. It is typically yellow in color and requires very sharp shears for cutting. Aramid Fiber Fabric is typically weaved by 200D/400D/600D/800D/1000D/1500D/3000D para-aramid fibers. The most common weave patterns are Plain, Twill and Satin. Its unique properties of high strength, low weight, and flame and solvent resistance have made it useful in an array of applications such as boat building, automotive and sporting equipment.
