Description
Reduced iron powder is a grey or black powder containing mainly monomorphic iron, also known as "double absorbent", generally generated by the reduction of iron tetraoxide under high heat conditions in the hydrogen gas stream or carbon monoxide gas stream.
Because of the reduced iron powder itself has been powder, coupled with its microstructure and very loose, so its surface area is very large, can absorb moisture and oxygen in the air, commonly used in food preservation, in chemical production and laboratory operations are often used as a high-quality reductant.

Application
① as a raw material for powder metallurgy products, the consumption accounts for about 60 ~ 80% of the total consumption of iron powder;
② As the raw material of electrode, adding 10 ~ 70% iron powder to the coating can improve the welding process of electrode and significantly improve the deposition efficiency;
③ As a flame cutting spray agent, when cutting steel products, spray iron powder into the oxygen-acetylene flame, which can improve the cutting performance ，expand the range of cutting steel grades, and improve the cutting thickness;
④ Can also be used as organic chemical synthesis reducing agent, fresh-keeping agent and deoxidizer.
