The ZJL vertical slurry pump is a vertical axial suction single-stage single suction centrifugal structure. It is mainly composed of impeller, volute, rear liner plate, shaft sleeve, support, support plate, shaft, bearing, bearing body and other parts. The materials of impeller, volute, rear liner plate and other parts in contact with the slurry vary according to the slurry characteristics. The impeller and shaft are connected by threads, and the volute, support and bearing body are connected by bolts. The pump shaft and motor can be driven directly by coupling or belt. The vertical pump has no circumferential peak structure, and the bearing is lubricated with grease.

Vertical Slurry Pumps are highly configurable pumping equipment designed to reduce maintenance and operating costs. They require less floor space than horizontal pumps, and wear parts are made of hard metal or rubber.

What is the comparison between Vertical Slurry Pump and Horizontal Slurry Pump:


1. Startup method
The vertical submerged slurry pump does not need backfilling to start. The impeller is located underwater, and the suction performance is better. Therefore, a higher speed can be used, and it can work normally in the case of insufficient suction; the horizontal slurry pump needs to be reversed. Install.
2. Installation area
The vertical submersible slurry pump occupies a small area and is light in weight. If the unit of the slurry pump has a limited area, the vertically submerged slurry pump can be appropriately selected; the horizontal slurry pump occupies a large area and needs to be installed. The area is huge.

Filter Feeding


Passage of wet part were designed to have the feature that head drops quickly when flow rate increases, by the rule of power consumption: the power is directly proportional to the product of the flow rate and head, and the curves are nearly reverse 45 degree, this means, the power won’t change much when flow rate or head change, this characteristic especially applies to filter-press feeding applications in coal preparation plants, where the flow rate need to be substantial under lower head, and minor flow rate at high head.
