The 2ml snap autosampler vial is widely used in HPLC applications and can be used almost as universal sample vials for autosamplers, including sample vials with automatic operation.
The bayonet cap or crimp cap can be used to close the bayonet bottle. The snap cover can be easily pushed in or pulled out by hand. Snap seal vials are less prone to breakage during decapping because more glass is used in the neck of the vial .
The snap seal neck finish is compatible with either crimp or snap seals; no special tools are required to remove the cap.
These vials are recommended for short-term sample storage and non-volatile samples because the seal is not as secure as a crimp or screw thread seal.
