warm your floor Polypropylene uncoupling crack isolation waterproofing membrane with cable

Product instruction:warm your floor Polypropylene uncoupling crack isolation waterproofing membrane with cable

Product instruction:
Electric Underfloor Heating Mats are a unique, easy and quick heating solution designed to be installed directly beneath tile, stone, slate or marble etc. The Floor heating mat UFH505 Heat is an uncoupling and waterproofing membrane designed to secure heating cable in place. UFH505-Heat provides uncoupling to neutralize shear stresses between the substrate and the tile covering to prevent cracked tile and grout. The patented stud structure of the UFH505-Heat membrane holds the heating cable in place without the use of clips or fasteners. It also eliminates the need for a self-leveling compound which minimizes the assembly thickness .

Features:5.6mm USA orange thickness Underfloor Heating Membrane with cable
Their Underfloor Heating Mats UM505 Heat are an advanced form of heating and designed to be easily fitted below a tiled floor. The mats will heat your floor evenly at a set temperature that you can control by means of a thermostat. Allowing you to control each room to your preferred taste. The heating mats are primarily designed for use on concrete floors but can also be installed on a wooden sub floor by either using a tile backing board or a thin screed of flexible tile adhesive.
The heating mats can be fitted underneath tiles, stone, marble or slate and used for both primary and comfort heating. It's ideal for remodeling bathrooms and kitchens and offers a luxury option when designing new construction. It is energy efficient as well as inexpensive to operate. Detailed instructions are included so that even do-it-yourself home owners can install it.

Advantages:5.6mm USA orange thickness Underfloor Heating Membrane with cable
1.Install below ceramic or porcelain tile, stone or brick floors or in a self-leveling mortar bed below vinyl floors, floating wood and laminate floor
2.For indoor floor-warming use only
3.Open-weave construction for easy application of thin-set and mortar without compromising the bond of your floor covering to the sub-floor
4.Energy efficient, inexpensive to operate
5.Armored power lead wire straight to the electrical box, no conduit required
6.Single-point power connection to facilitate layout and wiring
7.Mats can be connected in parallel for larger floor surfaces
8.Can be combined with a programmable thermostat control (not included)

Tiling with an uncoupling membrane
The use of uncoupling membranes has become more common in recent years due to the variety of problems that it can overcome. There
are many different types of uncoupling membranes available which either have added features or should be used for certain
situations so it is always important to speak to the supplier before commencing.

Product Feature

A. Uncoupling
It provides uncoupling through its open rib structure, which allows for in-plane movement that effectively neutralizes the
differential movement stresses between the substrate and the tile, thus eliminating the major cause of cracking and delaminating
of the tiled surface.

B.Waterproofing
It provides reliable waterproofing in interior and exterior applications. Its polyethylene composition protects the substrate from
moisture penetration, which is particularly important in today's building environment where most substrates are moisture
sensitive.

C.Vapor management
The distinguishing feature of this uncoupling membrane is the existence of free space created by the configured channels on the
underside of the matting. The free space provides a route for excess moisture and vapor to escape from the substrate that could
otherwise cause damage to the tile layer above. Thus, it effectively manages moisture beneath the tile covering.

D.Load-distribution
It is virtually incompressible within the tile assembly, the advantages of uncoupling are achieved without sacrificing point load
distribution capabilities. The ability of membrane installations to support and distribute heavy loads while preserving the
integrity of the tiles surface has been verified through extensive laboratory and field testing, including applications exposed to
vehicular traffic.

Test Criterion
1. The uncoupling membrane must achieve 50 PSI or greater shear bond strength in seven days per the test method in ANSI A 118.12.
2. Meet the TCNA requirements of "Point Loading" and "Fungus/microorganism resistance".
3. Vapor transmission and shears, evaluating the stress/strain relationship between uncoupling membranes and other membranes which are flat.
