Introduction
5KW pitch control wind turbine takes advantage of the characteristic of weight to control
blade angle according to wind speed and rotation speed, and through the blade twist,
the turbine changes blades itself aerodynamic characteristics and output power. It is the
most efficient small HAWT in current market.

Q1: Is the wind turbine price listed above include the charge controller and others? If not,
where I can purchase the controller and inverter?
A: The listed price is just for wind turbine only (generator + blades), no including controller, inverter
and other parts. Please contact our sales for the controller, inverter and other system parts for on
grid and off grid application.
Q2: What is the working voltage of your HAWTs for my battery bank or grid utility?
A: Please find our recommended working voltage as below:
SA-2KWP --- 48V/96V (off grid) / 220V (on grid)
SA-3KWP --- 48V/96V/120V (off grid) / 220V (on grid)
SA-5KWP --- 96V/120V/240V (off grid) / 220V (on grid)

Q3: What thickness of pole would we use for your horizontal wind turbine and what would
be the height approximately of the section that we would add on to your unit?
A: We recommend to use 5mm-8mm thickness, 6-15m height free standing tower for our pitch
control wind turbines. Please contact our sales to get more tower information.
Q4: How is your HAWTs to realize the security protection during heavy winds?
A: There are multi security protection to ensure our pitch control HAWTs speed regulation
and protection during high wind: yawing + electromagnetic brake (by controller) + pitch controlled
+ manual brake (available on HAWT 5KW and 10KW models).
1. Wind turbine model selection
It depends your local annual average wind speed, daily/monthly home power consumption.
Low average wind speed place, select larger blades rotor, higher rated working voltage;
Rich wind place select speed limited wind turbine: variable pitch wind turbine, stall out vertical
axis wind turbine.
The safety and steady working system is the first choice.
2. Wind turbine tower selection
Now we have guy wire tower, stand alone tower, tilting up tower, hydraulic tower.
Guy wire tower cost is lower, easy to delivery. But the installation area is larger;
Tilting up tower is for 500w-5kw wind turbine. Easy installation, small installation area. But the delivery cost is higher.
Hydraulic tower: It is used for no crane place. Easy installation and put down. The cost is higher.
Stand alone tower for the installation place with crane.
The tower height: Make sure blades rotor is higher than wind turbine surrounding barrier height.
3. Working system selection
On grid system: wind turbine with tower + PWM controller with dump load + grid tie inverter;
Off grid system: wind turbine with tower + PWM charge controller with dump load + battery group
+ inverter;
Wind solar hybrid on/off grid system: Safety and reliable than only wind or solar system.
Wind turbine water heating system: work in rich wind place. Average wind speed higher than 8m/s.
