Kellyvalve is a manually operated ball type drill stem valve in thedrill string circulation system and is one of the effective tools toprevent blowout;it is divided into upper Kelly valve and lowerKelly valve.The Kelly valve can be opened on or closed off by onlyturning the special operating wrench at 90°according toindicating direction.During drilling operation,in order to avoidblowout,the Kelly valveshall be connected at upper end andlower end of Kelly to prevent drilling fluid loss and blowout.
