Description of Bentonite GCL

1 Bentonite GCL is self-attaching and self -sealing to concrete or other construction structures.

2 It is made of a non-woven geotextile, a natural sodic bentonite layer, with or without a pe geomembrane layer, and a polypropylene sheet.

3 These layers are connected with a dense felter that makes the bentonite a self-confinement with controlled expansion. With this system it is possible to avoid slippage and the accumulation of bentonite as a consequence of cuts, tears, vertical applications and movements.

What is the type of GCL-NP: The upper layer is geotextile, the bottom layer is woven geotextile and the inner part between the two layers is the natural sodium bentonite clay.
