PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

An automatic-switch bilge pump is a requirement for any vessels 20’ and over with sleeping accommodations, but is a great convenience for any size boat. The STARFLO automatic bilge pump has everything contained in one compact yet durable package – pump, wire, seals, strainer, and mercury-free switch –and installs quickly and easily in tight spaces.

Pumps include 36” lengths of 16-gauge caulked and tinned copper wire.

A complete selection of pumps are available for fishing boats, runabouts, cruisers, yachts, and commercial boats.

STARFLO bilge pumps  are tested and approved as standard equipment by leading boat manufacturers.

All boats over 20' long with sleeping accommodations (excluding fold-out cockpit seats) should use automatic bilge pump systems.

Non-automatic pumps drawing 12-amps or less can easily convert to automatic operation with an STARFLO Automatic Float Switch (part number SF-BS-20-01). Our STARFLO Series automatic pumps are available in 600 and 750 capacity models

  How a Bilge Pump Works

Automatic bilge pumps with Built-in switch. Removal of the motor cartridge allows for easy cleaning of the strainer

and impeller in the event that the pump becomes clogged with debris. Electric Submersible Pumps are by far the

most popular type of electric Bilge Pumps, submersibles give very high outputs, are cost effective, have low amp

draw and are easy to install. Bilge pumps are designed to exhaust standing water only. They arenot intended to prevent

rapid accumulation of on-board water due to rough weather, hull damage, and/or other unsafe navigational conditions.
