Application:

A chaff cutter is used for crushing and kneading different kinds of dry and fresh straws and grasses into short filiform shapes, such as cornstalks, wheat straws, rice straws, peanut straws, Peashooter, bean vines, potato straws, alfalfa and etc. After chopping, straw feed is suitable to be stored after bailing and packing. Working principle:

The chaff cutter could be driven by a diesel engine or electric motor as power. The motor drives the motor pulley by belt conveyor, then power is transmitted to the main shaft. Gear wheel at

the other end of the main shaft drives the connected gear. Speed-regulating power transmits to press-straws rollers. When straws enter between upper rollers and down rollers, straws are nipped and pushed into cutting blades. After the straws are crushed and chopped by high-speed rotation cutting blades, next enter into teeth kneading blades, straws will be kneaded into filiform. Finally, short filiform grass will be thrown out through the output port because of the high-speed rotor.
