Q: How can I maintain the device lifetime?
A: During storage, the UPS will self-discharge at a rate greatly affected by the ambient temperature. Therefore, it should be fully charged before storage. If long-term storage is required, it should be charged regularly to avoid losing the original capacity. As a guide, UPS should not be stored for longer than the time shown below when it is not charged:
6 months at 20°C
3 months at 30°C
2 months at 35°C
If the ups was not used for long time, it is suggested to charge it once every 3~5 months.
