Product Usage
HPMC is made from highly purified cotton cellulose through specialized etherification under alkaline conditions.
Construction Industry:
1. Cement mortar: Improves the dispersibility of cement sand, significantly enhances the plasticity and water retention of
mortar, effectively prevents cracks, and can increase cement strength.
2. Tile cement: Enhances the plasticity and water retention of pressed tile mortar, improves tile adhesion, and prevents
powdering.
3. Coating of asbestos and other refractory materials: Serves as a suspending agent and fluidity improver, and also enhances adhesion to the substrate.
4. Gypsum concrete slurry: Improves water retention and workability, and enhances adhesion to the substrate.
5. Joint cement: Added to joint cement for gypsum boards to improve fluidity and water retention.
6. Latex putty: Improves the fluidity and water retention of putty based on resin latex.
7. Plaster: As a substitute for natural paste, it can improve water retention and enhance adhesion to the substrate.
8. Paint: As a plasticizer for latex paints, it improves the handling and fluidity of paints and putty powders.
9. Spray coatings: Effectively prevents filler settlement and improves fluidity and spray pattern quality in cement or
latex-based spray materials.
10. Secondary products of cement and gypsum: Used as a pressing and forming binder for cement-asbestos and other hydraulic
materials, improving fluidity and resulting in uniform molded products.
11. Fiber walls: Effective as a binder for sand walls due to its anti-enzyme and antibacterial properties.
12. Others: Can be used as a bubble retainer for thin mortar, sand plaster, and plasterer's operations (PC version).
Chemical Industry:
13. Polymerization of vinyl chloride and vinylidene: As a suspending stabilizer and dispersant during polymerization, it can be used in combination with polyvinyl alcohol (PVA) and hydroxypropyl cellulose (HPC) to control particle shape and distribution.
14. Adhesive: Used as a wallpaper adhesive, often in combination with vinyl acetate latex paint as a substitute for starch.
15. Latex: Improves the emulsion stability of asphalt latex and acts as a thickener for styrene-butadiene rubber (SBR) latex.
16. Binder: Used as a molding binder for pencils and crayons.Cosmetics Industry:
17. Shampoos: Improves the viscosity and bubble stability of shampoos, detergents, and cleansers.
18. Toothpaste: Enhances the fluidity of toothpaste.
