Bimetal Cylinder Liner
Bimetal cylinder liner is a kind of mud pump cylinder liner with two-layer structure made of two different metal materials.
Considering that the main contact wear part of the mud pump cylinder liner is the inner wall, the service life of the mud pump cylinder liner can be greatly extended by enhancing the hardness and wear resistance of the inner wall. Therefore, the inner sleeve of the bimetal cylinder liner of the mud pump is made of Cr26-28 high chromium cast iron, and the jacket is made of high-quality carbon steel forging and hot loading. The quality requirements of bimetal cylinder liner: the inner and outer sleeves are hot loaded and firmly combined. After finishing the insert cylinder liner, the inner sleeve thickness is 6.35-8.9mm, the hardness is HRC60-65, the inner surface roughness is within 0.2, and the surface should not have defects such as porosity, porosity, cracks, hair, slag inclusion and so on. The normal service life is more than 800 hours.
