3.How to choose the wear-resistant layer thickness of LVT flooring?
The different wear layer thickness apply to different applications, for residential use, 0.2-0.3mm wear layer thickness is enough, but for commercial application and heavy traffic, we suggest you can consider 0.5-0.7mm wear layer thickness.
4.Can LVT flooring be laid over existing floors?
LVT click floors up to 4 mm thick can be laid over existing floors. However, LVT floors with dry subfloors must be self-leveling before installation.
5.Does LVT flooring contain formaldehyde?
No, LVT flooring does not contain formaldehyde. It is a new, environmentally friendly building material that contains no
formaldehyde either in the raw materials or in the manufacturing process.
6.What is the fire rating of LVT flooring?
The fire rating of LVT flooring is Bfl-S1 according to EN13501-1.
7.Is LVT flooring waterproof and flame retardant?
Yes, LVT flooring is 100% waterproof and flame retardant. LVT flooring is made of PVC resin and inorganic stone powder, both of which are waterproof and flame retardant.
8.What are the technical advantages of LVT and LVP flooring?
(1) They can be easily used with floor tiles without transition profiles.
(2) Some colors reflect light: Some LVT and LVP colors have a high light reflectance value (LRV). This means the tiles reflect more light and less artificial light is needed to illuminate the room. Less artificial light is needed to illuminate the room.
3) Easy to install: LVT and LVP do not require transition panels and are easy to install. Because of their low height, laying them around cupboards and doors is no problem, allowing you to concentrate on your chosen design.
