We have two types of skid steer loaders: wheeled and tracked
The difference between tire type and track type：
（1）Tire loaders are commonly found on small loaders, and their outstanding advantages are fast operating speed, flexible steering, and convenient use. And it is easy to maintain with low maintenance costs. Moreover, tires have cushioning and shock absorption effects. The tire loader will not damage the road surface during operation and can be used on urban roads and in production workshops. But tire type has less grip compared to track type, and its climbing ability and ability to move on muddy roads are not as good as track type.
（2）The tracked skid steer loader has good traction and low ground pressure, which can provide greater thrust and excavation force, and can work normally on muddy roads and slopes. Crawler walking devices are also quite common on excavators. However, tracked vehicles have a slower walking speed and are prone to crushing normal cement and asphalt roads, so they usually require transport vehicles to transport them to the workplace.
