ARAMID ROPE
High-quality product, made of non-flammable Aramid yarns and polyester-covering. The cord is very tear-resistant, extremely low stretching, dimensionally stable, abrasion-resistant and robust. Particularly suitable as wire rope replacement, tensioning cable, control cable, pull rope or in areas with high demand on breaking load, abrasion-resistance, light-resistance and resistance to "creep" (time- and temperature-dependent, plastic deformation under constant load). It can use for salvage ropes, ice safety barriers, towed and stationary arrays, umbilical hoses, fiber optic cables, escape chutes, orbital straps, and tow ropes have incorporated Aramid rope to help increase strength and reduce weight.
Aramid rope has a very high heat resistance. It has a melting point of 930 degrees (F) and doesn't start to lose strength until 500 degrees (F). Aramid rope is also highly resistant to acids, alkalis and organic solvents. Other diameters and spools are available by special order.
