Strip Seal Expansion Joint, also known as single strip seal expansion joint or V-seal expansion joint, consists of an V type
elastomeric element and steel edge profiles. The V type elastomeric element, also known as strip seal, is made of EPDM, naturalrubber or neoprene rubber. The steel edge profiles, also known as edge beams, are made of hot rolled structural steel with variousoptions of shapes, including C type, E type, F type, M type, Z type, RG type, etc. The strip seal is tightly locked in the groovesof two edge beams, providing a superior watertight performance, at the same time, the strip seal can also accommodate expansionand contraction caused by temperature loads or impact loads. Strip seal expansion joint with solid design can easily accommodatethe high loads of vehicular traffic while effectively sealing expansion joints in bridges and structures with small movementsranges from 0 mm to 80 mm.
