Products Description


The working principle of a gear metering pump is that it is driven by a pair of meshing gears, one of which is an active gear and the other is a passive gear, which drives the meshing and rotation. There is a small gap directly left between the gear and the pump casing. When the gear rotates, the sealed volume between the teeth increases in the suction chamber where the teeth gradually detach from the mesh, forming a local vacuum. The liquid is sucked into the suction chamber under the pressure difference. As the gear rotates, the liquid is pushed forward by the gear in two ways between the gear and the shell, and sent to the discharge chamber. In the discharge chamber, the two gears gradually mesh, and the volume decreases. The liquid between the gears is squeezed to the discharge port.
