How does ESL label system work? 

1. E shelf label is installed on the shelf, and the E-ink screen is used to display product price, picture, specification, origin and other information. 

2. Base station is used to receive the signal from the server (software), and transmit the price change command to all price tags through 2.4GHz wireless technology.

3. Software can be installed on the local server computer in the store or the headquarters server.

4. PDA (optional) is only applicable to network software, used to bind product information and price tags quickly.

What is the battery inside the electronic shelf label?

The electronic price tag uses a CR2450/CR2430 button battery (non-rechargeable, 3V) to power the electronic price tag, and the battery life is about 3-5 years. You can easily find batteries locally and replace them yourself.
The main function of the internal battery is to use the battery when the base station sends an instruction to the price tag to change the price or display any details. If the price does not need to be changed, the internal battery generally does not consume power.

Digital price tag has network software:

suitable for single or chain store to change price at local store or remotely.
