Description
Extruded Marshmallow
After the marshmallow has been prepared in the SINOFUDE kitchen it then requires an extrusion or depositing step to make the final marshmallow. Extruded Marshmallow is usually extruded through a (rotating) manifold.
Depositing Marshmallow
The process starts by depositing a thick anti-sticking layer of starch or on the conveyor belt. The marshmallow is deposited on top of a thick layer of starch. At the end of the line, a top layer of starch is applied to fully cover the ropes of marshmallows, after which the products are cut using a guillotine.
