Calcium disodium EDTA is a chelating agent, that binds to metals, and is widely used as a food additive to prevent colour & flavour deterioration. Calcium EDTA is also used to help stabilise pharmaceutical products, detergents, shampoos, soaps, agricultural sprays, contact lens cleaners and cosmetics as well as in the textile and paper industries.
