Machine Grade Stretch Film
Machine film is the stretch film used on the machine, and it is also the largest type of stretch film. Pre-stretched pallet winding packaging machine and high-speed rocker winding machine are the two most common types of automatic winding packaging machines. The advantages of using an automatic winding packaging machine to pack the entire pallet of goods compared with manual packaging are very obvious: 1 the pallet is more compact; 2 it can save stretch film; 3 the packaging efficiency is higher.
Machine stretch film is normally supplied in reel widths of 500mm and sold by the tonne. Film is available in thickness of between 15-25 microns depending on the application. Standard stock film is 500mm x 2 microns x 15kg and 500mm x 25 microns x 15kg.
