1.Hydrocyclones is also called cyclone separator, Hydrocyclones include hydrocyclone desander (10 inch cone) and hydrocyclone desilter (4 inch cone), which is used to separate sand and silt from the drilling fluid.
2.A hydrocyclone is a static separation device that applies centrifugal force and fluid resistance to a flowing liquid mixture so as to promote the separation of heavy and light components.
3.Centrifugal pump is used to pump the drilling fluids from mud tank into the set of hydrocyclones.
4.Sand hydraulic cyclone is one of the most important deviced in the minerals industry, its main use in mineral processing being as a classifier, which has proved extremely efficient at fine separation size.
5. It is widely used in closes-circuit grinding operaions but has found many other uses,such as desliming,degtritting, and thickening.
