* Definition and Function
The water bar is a crucial equipment combination area in a milk tea shop. It is mainly used for preparing and mixing beverages and is the core working area for milk tea production. It integrates various tools and equipment. For example, the sink is used for cleaning tools, cups, etc.; there are also interfaces for various equipment required for making beverages, such as positions for placing slush machines, juicers, sealing machines, etc.
The water bar enables the staff to complete most of the beverage-making processes in a relatively concentrated area, from the retrieval of raw materials, mixing and stirring, to the final cup filling and sealing, improving the production efficiency.
* Structure Composition
1. Countertop Part:
It is usually made of materials such as stainless steel or artificial stone. The stainless steel countertop is sturdy, durable, easy to clean, and has certain antibacterial properties; the artificial stone countertop has an attractive appearance and can be customized according to the decoration style of the shop, with a variety of colors and textures available. Sufficient space is reserved on the countertop for placing beverage-making tools, such as measuring cups, shaker cups, bar spoons, etc.
2. Sink Part:
Generally, there are designs of single sinks, double sinks, or even triple sinks. The single sink is relatively simple and suitable for smaller water bars; the double sink can be used, one for cleaning tools and the other for rinsing cups, etc.; for the triple sink, there may be one specifically for soaking tools with stubborn stains that are difficult to clean. The material of the sink is mostly stainless steel, and the depth is sufficient to prevent water from splashing.
3. Storage Part:
There are different storage spaces under the water bar. Some are open grids that can be used to store larger raw material barrels, such as tea barrels, juice barrels, etc.; there are also cabinets with doors, which are used to store some spare cups, straws, mixing sticks, and other small items, convenient for access and keeping the area tidy.
4. Equipment Placement Area:
There will be specific positions for placing beverage-making equipment. For example, there is an area for placing a fructose machine, which is convenient for accurately adding sweeteners; there are interfaces or positions for placing an ice maker to ensure quick access to ice when making cold drinks; and there is also a place for a milk tea sealing machine or a cup lid machine, which is convenient for sealing the beverages.
