The main applications of Gutta Points include: filling tooth root canals, sealing tooth apical foramen, and providing temporary sealing effect for teeth.
1. Application in root canal therapy
When cracks or defects appear in teeth, dentists can use dental gum tips to temporarily seal the cracks or defects to prevent food residue and bacteria from entering the interior of the teeth.
2. Application of apical foramen closure in teeth
Dentists will insert the gum tip into the apical foramen and then use a heating device to melt it, tightly sealing the apical foramen.
