Product Description
The A48H-150LB American Standard Safety Valve is a safety device that prevents pressure equipment and vessels from bursting due to pressure increases or pressure inside the vessel exceeding limits. Safety valve is a kind of safety device widely used in pressure systems such as pressure vessels, boilers, pressure pipelines, etc., to ensure the safe operation of pressure systems.
Through the growth and decrease of the medium force on the valve disc and the force of the loading mechanism, it closes or opens itself to achieve the purpose of preventing and controlling overpressure of the equipment. It is suitable for equipment and pipelines with a working temperature of ≤ 350°C steam, air and other media.
A48H-150LB Spring loaded flange safety valves are depending on the spring elasticity to close the nozzle/disc to seal the valve. The disc will be top opened when there is unusual high pressure in equipment against spring to make a passageway releasing the high pressure. According to the opening height, there are full-opened type and tiny opened type. Full opened type has large volumes drainage for liquid and gas. The tiny opened type is just suitable for liquid media.

Main features
1. Flange full open safety valve has the characteristics of simple structure, good sealing performance, accurate opening pressure, large discharge capacity, small return pressure difference, and convenient adjustment.
2. Nozzle type valve seat: the valve seat is a valve seat with a Valer nozzle type, the steam flows through the outlet of the valve seat to reach the speed of sound, the emission coefficient is large, the sealing surface of the valve seat is surfacing cobalt chromium tungsten cemented carbide, wear resistance and erosion resistance, long life.
3. Thermoelastic disc: The disc is designed as a thermoelastic structure, which uses its slight deformation under medium pressure to improve sealing capacity and overcome the pre-discharge phenomenon of the safety valve when it is close to the set pressure under the medium pressure. The sealing surface of the valve disc adopts advanced laser quenching technology, which improves hardness, wear resistance and impact resistance.
4. Adjusting the nut: by adjusting the adjusting nut and adjusting the amount of spring compression, the valve can easily and quickly obtain the accurate setting pressure.
5. Back pressure adjustment sleeve: the auxiliary mechanism for adjusting the back pressure of the valve disc, through the back pressure adjustment sleeve, a suitable seat pressure difference can be obtained. When it is adjusted up, the back pressure of the valve is reduced. When lowered, the valve back pressure is increased.
